Love love love them ,

Featuring a high back and rounded armrests, these comfortable vintage armchairs are constructed from leather and recycled canvas from army tents.

A unique piece of accent furniture for your home, office or other establishments, the Alcott Large Vintage Armchair exudes a unique personality with a minimalist aesthetic.

Featuring a high back and rounded armrests, this piece is constructed from leather and recycled canvas from army tents.

Legs are fashioned from mango timber. Chair decor also includes decorative metal studs that really give it almost a rugged, western feel.

Comfortable, functional and unique this armchair will definitely be the most talked about furniture in your establishment.

We’ll send you an order confirmation e-mail which says we’ve received your order in our system and pre-authorize your credit card for the purchase.

If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we’ll process the charges and submit the order for shipment. Too easy!

If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via phone or e-mail to let you know what’s going on and discuss your options.


Order Shipment

If your furniture is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. We’re real people here at Bar The Stool and while we’re on the ball 99% of the time, Murphy is alive and well.

If, in the rare event, you do not receive tracking information from us within three business days of your order, please contact us at support@barthestool.com.au and we’ll sort it.


Shipping

Free Shipping

Just a few of our suppliers will ship your products for FREE to most states in Australia as part of their partnership with Bar The Stool.

We clearly mark those items with FREE delivery in the catalogue and pass on the full discount to you.

Unfortunately for Western Australian (WA) and Northern Territory (NT) customers, delivery costs apply even for these suppliers. I know that sucks but if you contact us directly, we’ll find you the best possible shipping prices for your area.

Shipping Costs

Unfortunately, the majority of our unique furniture does come with shipping costs due to the fact that Australia is huuuuuuuge and it requires quite a bit of time, effort and fuel to move stuff from A to B.

Bar the Stool does absorb some of those costs so you pay less, but in most cases, you will have to pay something.

Scout’s honour we don’t profit from the shipping costs in any way. Prices for delivery are dynamic and can change depending on the day (and sometimes it seems like the direction of the wind!).

We do our best to get you the best possible deal, but if you feel the shipping cost for a product you're interested in is extreme, get in touch and we’ll get a quote directly from the best value courier service we can find and lock it in on the spot.

Areas We Cannot Ship To

Due to the limited access of our carriers, there are certain postcodes that we are unable to deliver to at all. Shipping Delays

We try our hardest to make sure you get your order within the timeframe stated on your receipt. However, once your furniture leaves the warehouse, we have no control.

Shipments can be delayed or misplaced in transit occasionally. (Murphy again!)

When this happens, we pull out all stops to get your order to you as soon as possible.


Returns

Bar The Stool brings you a range of products from multiple suppliers and (sigh!) each company tends to have their own returns policy.

We’ve worked out a general policy as detailed below but some suppliers have additional conditions that over-ride that. Just so you’re not caught out we’ve detailed the rules for the individual manufacturers at the bottom of this page.

When you’re cruising our catalogue you can identify the maker of each product from the top right corner of each product page (below the header.)

Packaging For Delivery

This is how we pack most bar stools for delivery. They’re pretty well protected but we ask that you inspect your products as soon as possible after you receive them to see if there are any problems.

Damages

Please check the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. If you notice any damage, you should make a note of it when signing for delivery. If your furniture does arrive damaged, please take photos and send them to returns@barthestool.com.au within 2 days or even better, Call Us.

We can then process your claim on your behalf and save you the hassle.

Cancellations & Refunds

All orders cancelled after 48 hours will cop a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped already, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for any return shipping charges. To prevent any funny business, refunds will only be issued to the original credit card used when placing your order. It makes sense that the person who paid for it gets the refund right?

We do have a 12-month commercial warranty for manufacturing faults & defects. This warranty does not cover wear & tear.Please choose your products carefully as we do not credit or refund purchases if you change your mind or decide that our products are not suitable.

Orders can be cancelled ONLY before dispatch. If you have ordered in a special colour or size which is not part of our standard range, orders cannot be cancelled.All products have a 12-month commercial warranty for manufacturing faults & defects. This does not cover wear & tear.All Siesta products now have a  2-year warranty as of July 2018.If you receive a faulty product, please email a photo & description through to returns@barthestool.com.au. If the claim is approved by Furnlink, they will send an immediate replacement.

Any claims for faulty or damaged products must be submitted to us within 2 days of delivery via returns@barthestool.com.au.We advertise all our products as "consistently inconsistent." That means no two products are alike and we will not issue a refund for a wrong pattern or wrong colours.

Hi I’m Craig Truscott, the idea’s man behind the team behind the products at Bar the Stool. After 25 years in creative industries, I know a thing or two about what makes great design...and bad.

I started this company because I saw too many rooms where the seating was an afterthought, and the result looked like the proverbial “dog’s breakfast!'

We all know the saying…”All over bar the shouting.”

Well, there are too many kitchens, bars and spaces out there considered finished, without the final touches …And it got me thinking...They were “All over Bar the Stool.”

So I went on a mission…..

To source a range of unique bar stools, chairs & furniture that would help their owners create a hub for family, friends, guests and clientele.

A place where people could gather, connect, relax and celebrate.

        • Where the furniture itself would help create the atmosphere in the space.
        • Where perhaps the stools and chairs might create a talking point in themselves.

  • So I got the team cracking... We searched far and wide to find designers and manufacturers producing extraordinary pieces that we could bring to discerning buyers across Australia who appreciate beautiful furniture that makes a statement.

We looked at a lot, but only a few measured up to our exacting requirements for quality and uniqueness. And as we uncovered the stories behind those products we felt our customers would love, we knew we were creating something special.

Something different to what was already available on the market like our Ashanti Design range.

Since our launch in 2016, we’ve expanded our catalogue as we unearthed even more fabulous collections. And we have big plans to add even more.

But one thing remains constant and always will…..
